That's precisely why we decided to bring these Japanese delicacies to little Sweden. All to create an authentic taste experience for all sushi lovers out there, something that today makes us Sweden's largest sushi chain.
Sushi Yama, a leading chain of sushi restaurants in Sweden, faced the challenge of ensuring a stable and reliable internet connection for all its restaurants.
With a growing business and an increasing dependence on digital solutions, it was of utmost importance to have a robust and secure network solution for our restaurants and offices.
To meet these needs, Sushi Yama turned to Kubang AB, which today delivered a tailored solution with network and Wi-Fi for all Sushi Yama's restaurants. All restaurants are connected to a central management service where it is easy to administer and monitor all restaurants. This gives us the control we need to manage our restaurants' connections and security. Each restaurant is also equipped with a backup solution; if a fiber connection should have operational problems, our network automatically switches to a 4G connection.
"We have been using DrayTek Vigor in our operations for almost 10 years now, and the fact is that we scouted the terrain very thoroughly before we made our choice. We wanted to move to completely cashless restaurants early on and also have online orders as a natural channel, making constant connection a must. No ISP could then provide us with a good solution, while we saw a growing need ahead of us. We came in contact with Kubang in 2014, and since then, DrayTek's routers and failover solution have been an integral part of our networks," says Danny Barsoum - Head of IT for Sushi Yama.
"Our restaurants should be a safe place for our staff and also our guests. Therefore, our restaurants are constantly connected with cameras for everyone's safety. Kubang could offer us small powerful cameras with high resolution. Moreover, in black or white design to blend into our environment. All cameras are connected over our network to the head office's control center.
Here's how we built our solution:
SD WAN
The restaurants are equipped with SDWan via DrayTek Vigor2927 series with 4G redundancy, firewall, and Wi-Fi
Management is done via the cloud service VigorACS.
Security Cameras
Milesight's AI IR Mini Dome camera, AI video analysis, people counting, facial recognition, and 4K resolution. It offers highly detailed color images even in low lighting.
